“You’re Only Responsible for the Effort You Put Into Whatever You Do.” This sentence has had tremendous impact in my life. And I hope it will become a sentence that you learn to live by! People who have bariatric surgery tell me they want to live at a healthy weight and have an improved quality of life. In order for that to happen, they need to develop a healthy lifestyle that lasts for the rest of their life! Too many people focus on reaching a goal weight rather than on learning to live a healthy post op way of life. Developing a healthy lifestyle and putting effort into that process has a number of benefits including feeling less pressure, having improved self-confidence, and experiencing more happiness along the way. Not to mention, focusing on today’s effort keeps people from falling into old habits that result in weight regain! Listen in and learn more about the importance of focusing on the process rather than the outcome!
