Show Notes

Meet Taylor Rizzo! Taylor is a registered dietician who works exclusively with bariatric patients, both before and after their surgical procedures. And her patients love her! Which is the reason I have asked Taylor to be a regular presence on BariAftercare! On this, her first episode for BariAftercare, Taylor answers a number of questions frequently asked by patients: What is eating frequency? How frequently should you be eating as a bariatric patient? What’s so important about eating on a regular schedule? Can you engage in intermittent fasting or other fad diets as a bariatric patient? How does eating frequency affect blood sugar levels and cravings? Taylor teaches us that your body has to TRUST you to take care of it by giving it the nutrition it needs to protect it’s vital organs! If you aren’t doing that, you won’t see weight loss because your body is self-protective! By the way … that’s a good thing. Did you catch the use of the word TRUST a sentence or two ago? Help your body TRUST you by HONORING (another great word Taylor used)… honoring your body! Learn what it means to honor your body with healthy eating frequency as a bariatric patient! Your body will then be able to trust you to do what’s best for it! You AND your body will benefit!
